LCS TEAM

Rod Lane, LCS President, LEED AP

Leading a team of qualified consultants with an unrivaled grasp of building systems and the realistic budgeting of facilities improvements and retrofits; Rod is well versed in every aspect of construction management, specializing in that of housing projects. He has over thirty years of experience in both architectural design and construction.

Rod is a Commissioner on the Disabled Access Appeals Board for the City of Los Angeles, has been a guest lecturer at the USC School of Architecture and has taught extensively – including a nine-session course on residential building maintenance management for LISC (a non-profit housing organization). He has participated in and chaired on workshops focusing on Construction Cost Control, Physical Needs Assessments, Construction “101,” and How to Prevent Mold and Water Intrusion. He has surveyed and provided Capital Needs Assessments for use in maintenance planning, capital improvements, and asset management; with a high diversity in property types, from small infill projects to large garden apartment complexes. In total, Rod has been involved in surveying thousands of housing units, and hundreds of buildings.

David specializes in Facilities Management, Construction Project Management, Energy Modeling, and Capital Needs Assessments. He has over twenty-two years of experience in asset management and construction management.

With a focus on design and syntax, James is responsible for the quality with which LCS documents are turned out. He has over 5 years of experience in periodicals publishing – from design to management – and is rapidly building a skill set within the affordable housing industry.
